Love GoD, Love OThers

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength' and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
(Mark 12:30-31).

How we express this value:

  • Weekly Worship
  • Communion
  • Baptism

Live in community

"They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity." (Acts 2:46)

How we express this value:

  • LifeGroups - groups of 6-12 people who meet weekly outside of our main worship gathering to share life, study the Bible, and serve others.
  • Seeking the flourishing of our community through partnering with and serving our city (Jeremiah 29:4-7)

Give Ourselves Away

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45).

How we express this value:

  • Serving on a Weekend Ministry Team
  • Using our resources (time, talents, and finances) to further God's Kingdom in our community and world.
  • Serving on local & global service projects

We recognize that all that way we have is a gift from God, and that we have been "enriched" in order to be generous (2 Corinthians 9:11). God doesn't need our money, He wants our hearts. And as we give, our hearts are expanded to love and trust Him more.

There are 3 ways to give financially: (1) Online on this page. Just click the blue button below,  (2) by using the SecureGive app on your mobile device and choose Mountain View Wesleyan Church, or (3) In person during worship. Currently, there are three categories to direct your giving: General Offering, Global Missions, and the Make Room Building Fund.

2 Corinthians 9:11
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (NIV)

The MAKE ROOM Building Fund

Because God is calling us to "make room" for even greater things.
